Som första andetaget, med frysna tår på tröskeln, i dörren i drömmen, och luften är skör och blank. Avsked som suddas ut av nya flingor - unika ögonblick som rasar förbi. Molnen blåser hårt över taket och solen bryter, rosa och blödande genom den gråa vadden. Himlen viker sig själv ut och in, you're already the voice inside my head.
It's a cold Dougie's never experienced before. Danny spreads a big hand over his red and taught cheek and tells him about the first time the wind turned, one of the first nights they had together.
"Here," says Tom promptly and Harry is too cold to roll his eyes. Danny's mind is blank, Harry knows; can tell. Danny would lose an arm before he left Tom's side and nods anyway, agreeing to the blonde thinking that Tom knows best - always have.
"First time here," Danny continues and Harry's eyes shift to Dougie's, half open and drowsy. Memories lingering behind eyelids and long eyelashes.

Stickade sockor, Corona, brödsmulor och godnattsagor. Varm Ribena och hundvalpar, "and then I broke down crying and told them all how much I love them." Våra pojkar, våra hjärtan. Sängen känns plötsligt lite för stor, och köksgolvet bränner kallt under fötterna medan mjölken kokar upp på spisen.
Jag saknar dig när du inte är här, men du är med mig för alltid. Hemligheter. Vi ska minnas tillsammans.
